Serenity Open Arms Refuge (SOAR) may collect information you provide when you contact us, submit a housing inquiry or application, join a waitlist, communicate with our team, or receive resident services. This may include your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, city and state, housing needs, funding or income source, referral information, veteran or re-entry information, employment information, and other information you choose to provide.
We use information to respond to housing inquiries, review applications and referrals, determine potential housing fit and availability, communicate about next steps, provide resident and customer support, respond to maintenance or service requests, send account or rent-related reminders, maintain our records, and operate and improve SOAR services.
If you provide verbal consent to receive SMS customer-care messages from SOAR, we may send messages related to your housing inquiry, application, resident account, maintenance or service requests, follow-up after a phone inquiry, and other customer-care communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving housing or services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
SOAR may use service providers that help us operate our communications, technology, forms, recordkeeping, and business systems. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to provide requested services, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or operate SOAR. We do not sell personal information for third-party marketing.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information in our possession. We retain information as reasonably necessary for housing, resident-service, business, legal, and recordkeeping purposes.
